What this site is
BoilerScout publishes plain information about boiler repair in Surrey and helps people ask local businesses for quotes. We are not a boiler repair business. We do not employ, supervise or recommend the businesses we pass enquiries to.
What happens when you ask for quotes
- You fill in the form with your name, contact details, address and the job.
- We pass those details to one or more independent local boiler repair businesses.
- They contact you to ask questions and quote. You decide whether to hire any of them.
You only send your details when you tick the consent box on the form, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
How the site is paid for
Sending an enquiry costs you nothing. Some businesses pay BoilerScout a fee for the enquiries we pass on. That is how the site pays for itself.
Who is responsible for the work
The business you hire quotes the price, does the work and is responsible for it. Before you agree to anything, ask for a written quote, check the business's registration and insurance where the work calls for them, and ask for references.
